Teacher’s Development Workshop—Developing Skills in Using a Process Approach to Writing
On 6th May, Miss Lai Yuen Wah and Miss Wong Man Ying shared their experience on process writing. First, they gave a brief account on the rationale of process writing. Then they showed the key features of process writing and how to follow a process approach in teaching writing. Samples were given so that the teachers had a clearer picture on how to go through the different stages of process writing. At last, the teachers worked in group to design process writing activities for students. Through different activities, teachers were more familiar with process writing.
